Male Fertility Assessment Packages
Male Fertility Assessment Packages
To make fertility testing clear and efficient, we have created three examination packages designed to meet the most common needs of men at different stages of their fertility journey.
START – Basic Male Fertility Assessment – 75 EUR
Základní balíček představuje první krok při vyšetření mužské plodnosti. Je vhodný pro muže, kteří chtějí získat orientační přehled The START package is the first step in evaluating male fertility. It is ideal for men who would like an initial assessment of their fertility, are planning to start a family, or have been trying to conceive for a relatively short time.
The examination provides a clear overview of the basic semen parameters and helps identify the most common causes of male infertility.
The package includes:
- Semen analysis (Spermiogram) assessing:
- sperm concentration
- sperm motility
- semen volume and pH
- other important semen parameters
- Sperm morphology – detailed evaluation of sperm shape, size and structure
- MAR Test – detects antisperm antibodies that may impair sperm movement and reduce the ability to fertilise an egg
The examination provides a basic assessment of male fertility and helps determine whether further specialised testing is recommended.
Price:
CZK 950 for self-paying patients
CZK 450 for IVF Zlín patients or men referred by their gynaecologist
BALANCE – Advanced Male Fertility Assessment – 280 EUR
This package combines several important fertility tests at a discounted price, allowing savings of up to EUR 100 compared with individual examinations.
It is designed for men who would like a more detailed assessment of their fertility or who have experienced prolonged difficulty conceiving, abnormal semen analysis results, or are preparing for fertility treatment.
In addition to semen analysis, the package includes hormonal testing and modern oxidative stress diagnostics, which may significantly influence sperm quality and fertility.
The package includes:
- Semen analysis
- Sperm morphology
- MAR Test
- MIOXSYS® – oxidative stress assessment in semen
- Comprehensive hormonal profile:
- Testosterone (TSTO)
- FSH
- LH
- Prolactin (PRL)
- TSH
- Free T4 (FT4)
- Total T3 (TT3)
This package provides a comprehensive evaluation of male fertility by assessing semen quality together with possible hormonal and functional causes of infertility.
Please note: The BALANCE package does not include Sperm DNA Fragmentation (DFI) testing, which is available only in the PREMIUM package.
PREMIUM – Comprehensive Male Fertility Assessment – 430 EUR
Our most comprehensive fertility package combines the latest laboratory technologies and offers savings of up to EUR 140 compared with individual tests
It is particularly suitable for couples who:
- have been trying to conceive for a long time
- have experienced repeated IVF failures
- have suffered recurrent miscarriages without a known cause
Unlike the basic packages, PREMIUM evaluates not only sperm quality and function but also the genetic integrity of sperm DNA, allowing us to detect hidden abnormalities that cannot be identified through a routine semen analysis.
Particularly recommended for men:
- with repeatedly abnormal semen analyses
- after unsuccessful IVF cycles
- whose partner has experienced recurrent miscarriage
- with unexplained infertility
- of advanced reproductive age
- exposed to smoking, chronic stress, infections or obesity
The package includes:
- Semen analysis
- Sperm morphology
- MAR Test
- MIOXSYS® oxidative stress assessment
- Complete hormonal profile
- Sperm DNA Fragmentation (DFI) test
What is Sperm DNA Fragmentation?
Each sperm carries the genetic information required to create a healthy embryo.
If sperm DNA is damaged, it may result in:
- reduced fertilisation potential
- impaired embryo development
- lower IVF success rates
- increased risk of miscarriage
DNA Fragmentation testing identifies genetic damage that often cannot be detected by a standard semen analysis.
The PREMIUM package represents the highest level of male fertility diagnostics and helps physicians select the most appropriate treatment strategy or assisted reproduction technique.
How Does the Examination Work?
The examination is quick, discreet and painless.
It begins with a semen analysis (spermiogram), which can be supplemented with specialised laboratory tests according to your individual situation.
Each test provides different information about sperm quality. Together, they allow an accurate diagnosis and the development of the most appropriate treatment plan.

Why Choose Comprehensive Fertility Testing?
Each examination provides unique information about male fertility. Together they help to:
- identify the true cause of infertility
- choose the most effective treatment
- improve the chances of natural conception and successful IVF treatment
The essential first step in evaluating male fertility.
A semen analysis provides a comprehensive assessment of semen quality and helps identify the most common causes of male infertility.
The examination evaluates:
- sperm concentration and total sperm count
- sperm motility
- sperm morphology
- semen volume
- pH, viscosity and other important semen parameters
The results help physicians evaluate the sperm’s ability to fertilise an egg naturally and determine whether further investigations are necessary.iogramu pomáhají lékařům posoudit schopnost spermií přirozeně oplodnit vajíčko a navrhnout další postup léčby.
Detects an immunological cause of male infertility.
The MAR Test identifies antibodies directed against a man’s own sperm.
These antibodies may:
- reduce sperm motility
- cause sperm to stick together (agglutination)
- interfere with sperm reaching the egg
- decrease fertilisation potential
The MAR Test detects problems that may not be visible in a routine semen analysis and forms an important part of comprehensive male fertility diagnostics.
A modern laboratory test measuring oxidative stress in semen.
Oxidative stress results from an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants. Elevated oxidative stress may significantly damage sperm and impair male fertility.
It may lead to:
- damage to sperm cells
- reduced sperm motility
- DNA damage
- reduced fertilising ability
Common contributing factors include:
- smoking
- chronic stress
- obesity
- infections
- unhealthy lifestyle
The results help physicians recommend targeted treatment, lifestyle modifications and antioxidant therapy where appropriate.
A comprehensive hormonal assessment essential for healthy sperm production and male reproductive function.
Hormonal imbalance can be an important cause of infertility, abnormal semen parameters and reproductive health problems.
The hormonal profile includes:
- Testosterone (TSTO)
- FSH
- LH
- Prolactin (PRL)
- TSH
- Free T4 (FT4)
- Total T3 (TT3)
Hormonal testing helps identify underlying causes of infertility and guides further treatment or specialised investigations.
Assessment of the genetic quality of sperm.
Even sperm that appear normal under microscopic examination may carry damaged DNA.
Increased DNA fragmentation may:
- reduce fertilisation potential
- impair embryo development
- lower IVF success rates
- increase the risk of miscarriage
The examination measures the DNA Fragmentation Index (DFI), indicating the percentage of sperm with damaged DNA.
Recommended especially for:
- repeated IVF failure
- recurrent miscarriage
- unexplained infertility
- advanced paternal age
- abnormal semen analysis
This test can identify hidden sperm damage that routine fertility examinations often fail to detect.
